For the last post of the week and the last day of the week, we decided to dedicate our time to filming the opening itself. This was a long process taking about 4 hours in total but we were able to capture all the footage we needed and hopefully will not need any reshoots. For the filming process Hayden was manning the camera and me and Miguel we the actor. I was the dark figure while Miguel was the leading actor. If I'm going to be completely honest, he was not the best actor and took way longer than needed, but it was still fun overall. The footage is still on Hayden's camera and he will need time to process them and send them over so I will take about the individual shots themselves in a later post. I was able to get some set photos of our process which I will be showing here which should give some great insight into what we were doing.

Filming Done!
The camera setup we used for any shots with movement like the running away sequence.
The camera stable setup we used for shots that required no movement.
This is the outfit I was in for most of the recording, the picture is of Miguel in it because he swapped over for the reveal.
A shot of Hayden taking the establishing shot of the house.
The recording of the opening sequence on the couch on the phone where we were directing Miguel on what to say and how to act.
The setup of us recording the hiding shot.
The camera died towards the end so we had to wait for it to recharge to continue.
Us, finally getting to record the project was a really great step. It was honestly really fun being able to record with these guys despite the acting disasters we have unfortunately caught on camera. The shots were done in great lighting and Hayden will be messing with the lighting on his own to see if he can get them to look like they were shot at night. Then he will pass it on to me who will take care of more of the special effects parts of what he cannot do. We will start looking through the clips next week and start editing and finalizing CCR thoughts next week. So stay tuned for that!
